Last Minute Vegas Wedding | Taylored Photo - Brand Photographer in Las Vegas

M + K decided to do a last minute Vegas wedding after they became overwhelmed with meeting everyone else’s needs surrounding their wedding. They wanted a Vegas-y feel to their special day so they choose to do a fun post-wedding session with us on the Strip. We walked around to a few locations before this couple headed to their reception. They were fun, easy-going and super photogenic! We love working with couples that are on a getaway and aiming to capture some fun memories.

Why did you choose this particular venue or location?

Planning a large wedding with both of our families spread across the country, we quickly became overwhelmed with trying to accommodate everyone’s needs while still feeling like the wedding was authentic to us. We realized the wedding should be a happy event, that was focused only on us so we made a last minute decision to elope to Vegas. We chose Chapel of the Flowers for our wedding day. It was beautiful there, but we really wanted our wedding photos to have a “Vegas-y” feel to them. We decided to book our photo session for after the wedding so we could take our photos with the city as our backdrop. Instead of a reception, we had dinner after the wedding at Alize (at The Palms), with stunning sunset views overlooking the city.

What was your vision for your wedding day?

We wanted the entire process to feel fun and relaxed. Your wedding day is supposed to be a celebration so we wanted to eliminate all stress and focus just on the love and friendship we share, the decision we were making, and also keeping things simple enough to never lose sight of why we were making it.

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

My favorite part was the people we chose to work with. Everyone made things so easy for us that I didn’t have to worry about the details. Taylored Photo Memories really went above and beyond to try to accommodate exactly what we were looking for within an extremely short timeframe. Even though we booked everything so last minute, we never felt any less important or taken care of. Every detail was special and we enjoyed every second of our day.

Was anything handmade or DIY at your wedding?

Nope, we found that Vegas was so unique on it’s own that it provided everything we needed to celebrate our day

Do you have any advice for other couples planning their day?

Do what makes you happy. We found during our process that we were accommodating friends and family members on their preferences, time frames, places, etc., instead of focusing on how we wanted our day to be. A Vegas Elopement isn’t for everyone but I think it’s important to remember, even during big weddings, to spend some intimate moments together and stay focused on the love you share.
