Nelson Nevada is one of the coolest places in the Las Vegas area to take photos. There is so much to offer here! There is an antique, vintage, rustic vibe going on here that can’t be beat by any other location and it’s all real stuff!
There is a ton of history surrounding this area. For starters this area is actually called Eldorado Canyon, but is very close to the small town of Nelson NV, which is why it commonly gets referred to as “Nelson”. Spanish settlers stumbled upon Eldorado Canyon in the early 1700s. You can now take a tour of the Historical Techatticup Mine via the Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours.
