I may be biased having been the lucky wedding photographer chosen to capture their event, but from my perspective bride and groom Amanda and Kevin’s rustic elegant wedding pulled off all the stops. Not only did they have a gorgeous traditional Catholic church wedding which brought tears to my own eyes as well as to the bride and groom’s, but they also managed to locate a rustic elegant wedding venue, here in Las Vegas, that appealed to their personalities and met all of their requirements.
Amanda and Kevin chose the Veil Pavilion at the Silverton Hotel & Casino because to them it was the perfect fit. Desiring a rustic/country themed reception which reflected their down to earth personalities and was warm and welcoming for all of their guests, they were initially charmed by the antler chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. After visiting various other venues during their research, they also discovered that the Veil Pavilion had the largest dance floor among the contenders. For a couple who love to dance, this was an important element in creating the inclusive celebratory atmosphere that they were looking to achieve at their reception.
With the venue selected, next Amanda and Kevin focused on the details. Amanda embraced creating a few DIY details for the big day which in her mind helped the whole event really come together. The wood table numbers, mason jars lining the aisle, ceremony programs, and the wands with bells used for the couple’s send off were all handmade to match Amanda’s rustic elegant wedding theme and vision.
As their photographer, it was my pleasure to capture all of Amanda and Kevin’s hard work by documenting all of the details that went into their big day. From the DIY elements mentioned above to the fancy footwear of the bridal party, this event was well thought out, memorable, and most of all fun!
