Personality portraits are a beautiful, timeless way to capture the unique spirit of the people you love. These portraits serve as lasting keepsakes for your home and meaningful gifts for family and friends.
Not a Las Vegas local or a member at Shine a Light? Not a problem at all. This is a community event, so all children welcome.
The best part? A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Shine a Light to support hundreds of people living in the underground flood channels of Las Vegas. Your portrait helps us bring a little more light to our community.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is 5 minutes enough time?
Yes! These sessions are designed to be quick and relaxed. Five minutes is plenty of time to capture genuine expressions without kids getting overwhelmed or bored.
How many images will I receive?
Your session includes 1 professionally edited image, with the option to purchase additional favorites after you view your gallery.
When will I receive my images?
Your proofing gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks of the event.
Will I get black & white pictures or color?
You’ll receive a black & white image, which is the signature style of personality portraits. (If color is available, it will be noted in your gallery.)
What should my child wear?
Simple is best! Solid colors or subtle patterns photograph beautifully. Avoid logos, characters, or busy graphics to keep the focus on your child’s expression.
What if my child freaks out or doesn’t cooperate?
That’s okay ! It happens! We keep things light, patient, and pressure-free. Even shy or wiggly kids often surprise us once the camera is out.
Can my child’s cousin join them?
These sessions are for individual children only. Siblings are welcome to book back-to-back sessions.
